Los Angeles – Film and television composer James Fabio announces the release of his debut concept album “Controllum Controller” with a portion of album proceeds to be donated to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. Featuring singer Rachael McLachlan on two of the four tracks, the project is scheduled for release on June 18th, 2019.

Inspired by the industrial tones and emotional melodies of both Nine Inch Nails and Tool, this album of atmospheric electronica explores darker themes and mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and suicide. James’ experience writing music for crime and horror mediums is apparent through his use of evolving synths and melodic dissonance.

With the goal to raise money for those in need, James also hopes the album can help listeners develop a deeper emotional understanding of some of the most isolating afflictions and eliminate some of the social stigmas attached to mental illness.
